Summary
There are four reasons for kidnapping Tony Stark. Tony's sick of all of them. Well, there's potentially a fifth, but it's highly unlikely that Captain America will suddenly fulfill THAT fantasy. Tony's deeply disappointed about that.
Steve Rogers, as always, is oblivious. At least, that is, until someone who isn't him kidnaps Tony. Then he's just pissed.

Notes
An interesting fic which rises above the other's in the genre because of it's beautifully written Sherlock. All the characters are well written but Shiny_n_new takes the Sherlock of BBC cannon an twists him into something new and deeply fascinating. This isn't a new Sherlock, this is the Sherlock we all know and love viewed from a whole new angle.

Summary
Pre-series, Moriarty knows nothing of Sherlock Holmes. He knows only of Mycroft Holmes, the interfering government official who keeps thwarting his criminal schemes. Having become enamored with his cold, clever enemy, he decides to take him captive instead of killing him.

Notes
This is a beautifully dark little fic. Mycroft's inner monologue is well written and believable, especially those moment when he recognises that he is developing Stockholm syndrome but it unable to stop it. A particularly dark version of Moriarty, who the fandom all too often view as simply misunderstood. In this, despite his lack of violence, you see the monster he really is. Fabulous.

Summary
I've read a summary of the Living Armor comic arc, and was struck by the thought that if the armor had been a bit cleverer, it might actually have had a happy ending. This is an unrepentant mishmash of comic 'verse and movie 'verse. For visuals, think of the actors in the movies & imagine it as occurring after the Avengers, and before Iron Man 3.
My hope is that there will eventually be slashy nookie, so I've tagged it explicit. As this is being written on the fly, it may mutate in any direction.
