Three hours, two sudden downpours, and one missed bus after Shepard set out, he conceded to himself that he was well and truly lost. Although, admittedly, Garrus’s directions could have been better.

Though the Mass Relays, as well as galactic civilization throughout the systems, underwent massive changes and adaptations the people still understand little of the events that lead up to and occurred during the War.
Throughout the saga, many agree on the presence of an enigmatic figure, known now as the Shepard, who ushered in an era of peace and stability through sacrifice, honour and bloodshed. Eventually, the presence of the Shepard was slowly relegated to a figure of myth and legend; an incorporeal hero, an ideal. Unbeknownst to most, there exists a small and isolated group of enlightened individuals who seek to preserve the truth about the Shepard and eventually to help spread the and maintain the truth of Commander Shepard and the hope that he brought to a dying galaxy.

Also, there is some potential jealousy from a certain Major, given how Shep and a certain Lieutenant flirt. Rated M for language, drunkenness, and potential future content.

The bond of shared experience - shared pain - well... that kind of camaraderie was hard to define. Even harder to apologize for. Kaidan was glad to be alive, but he could feel himself teetering on the edge of drowning. Survivor's guilt. A simple term for an impossible emotion.
