I read this like it was original fiction because I haven't a clue who it's been written about. It's massive, epic, and incredibly paced for the size and scope of the story. Here is an interesting and incredibly real look at prostitution, both from the perspective of the clients and the sex workers, that doesn't fail to take into account the many realities of those situations. It's a sweet, earnest, subtle story, that even if you think you can predict, will still surprise and engage you.

In my top 5 stories of all time, this is a perfectly-written and beautifully angsty love story that doesn't minimalize or glamorize prostitution and all its attendant consent issues. Absolutely flawless, and an emotional roller-coaster the likes of which you will never, ever want to get off of.
