Summary
Jim is sure there's a spark between him and his First Officer, but Spock, ever practical, is reluctant to take the next step. Everything changes, however, when a transporter accident leaves a sixteen year old Spock, right in the middle of his rebellious stage, on the Enterprise. As Jim tries to deal with the aftermath of his friend's transformation, the Enterprise encounters a rogue Romulan ship on its way to New Vulcan. Spock's interactions with the vessel's Commander provide a new threat to the ship's safety--and a new complication to Spock's relationship with Jim.

As the Enterprise's celebrated voyage winds down, the tension between her captain and first officer escalates, and three days aboard Jupiter's premier lunar station will change everything. Jim doesn't handle change very well. Slow-build, character-study prelude to the Lost Years and TMP. Unhappy ending, but canon functions as a fix-it!

When Cirque du Soleil presents an opportunity of a lifetime, Zach and Joey drive to Montréal to join their newest production. It's meant to be just another job in Zach's vagabond life, a stable gig that allows him and Joey to travel all over the world and explore their passions. But what is a guy to do when his brother goes off-script, getting involved with a veteran contortionist? And even worse, what is Zach supposed to do when he meets a blue-eyed stranger, someone who isn't put off by Zach's tough-guy exterior? Over the course of six months they become friends, and as Zach learns the life of the cirque, he also learns that maybe, just maybe, real life is way more complicated than any circus act.
