Summary
Sequel to Of Princes and Fireflies. AU HP7. Harry threw the book into the fire, his face set. He didn't care if he was a horcrux—he wasn't going to die and leave Octavian alone, and the rest of the wizarding world be damned. SLASH.

Summary
Harry has promised that he will not do anything to upset the new head of Magical Creatures. Even if it is Draco Malfoy. When three centaur foals appear in Cumbria, far from the Forbidden Forest and all too close to Muggles, Harry’s promise is thoroughly tested. To say nothing of his equestrian skills.

Summary
Invisible to See is a novel set in JK Rowling's Harry Potter universe, exploring one possible future for some of the key characters. It was begun in November of 2002 and completed in December of 2003; as such the story was conceived without benefit of The Order of the Phoenix, and cleaves only to prior canon.
It is a swashbuckling tale of love, friendship, romance, redemption and vengeance, and of the messy business of coming to terms with the differences between who you are and who other people want you to be. Or, in other word, growing up. It is very, very, very loosely inspired by Pride and Prejudice, among other things.
This story is a very long way from being a PWP, but it does involve some explicit and enthusiastic shagging; however, the characters are all over the UK age of consent.

Hermione Granger, 11, Gryffindor: “There’s just so much to learn. Nobody else sees it like that, they think you can just wave a wand and things happen and it’s about that, but that’s only what they’re teaching us now, in our first years. Just look at the library and you know how much more there is. I wish I was back there now. I mean, I’m happy to be home with my parents for Christmas, I know they missed me, but there’s so much more I could be doing there than here . . .Homesick? I was, a bit. I had friends here and – I suppose it was harder making friends there. It got much better, though. It’s been good to see Bob and Susie and Joe over the holidays, but it’s hard, too, there’s so much I want to tell them about everything and I have to close my mouth just about every time I open it, I feel sometimes like I’m going to explode!”
This is worldbuilding and unreliable narrator and document fic at its best. This is an unflinching look at the wizarding world and how the good guys there are pretty awful too. -

Summary
Written and LJ-posted 23 February 2010. I am as a rule allergic to anything remotely like a cross-over, but I hoped that it might get certain of my friends (and editors) to leave obsessing about the Winter Games and get back to honest HP-fic. (It didn't: the fever simply wanted to run its course in its own time.)
So, by way of summary: In which the Ministry send Harry and rather an ill-assorted team to Vancouver to assist their Canadian counterparts, and in which there is not, as claimed, a Werewolf on ice ... but there is a male Veela. And it all comes down to a Warren Zevon joke.

Notes
Possibly the most hilarious RPF I have ever read. (Oh, yeah, there's some Harry Potter, which as a fandom at least has more humorous fics--this one's up there too.)
