Only sometimes intentionally, but always backwards one minute, except for one minute when he's 16 and time stops completely for everyone and everything around him, except him. After that, he's drawn to Hawaii, and when time rewinds and he catches his wife cheating on him, he takes his daughter and moves to Hawaii, leaving his wife no choice but to follow.
