Summary
I met him a few years after my dad died. I had been spending months trying to find a way to save others like me, and then I found him. He was in a cage, all alone. He probably was going to be put to death if I didn't find him. A lot of experiments were on the death list at the time.
We grew close as we spent time together in my house. We fell in love, and we ended up engaged. It was perfect. I was so happy! Life was finally turning good again.
But then they figured out I was hiding him...[WARNING: INTENSE SADSTUCK AND JOHNDAVE FEELS.

Summary
This fic is based off of a chat I had on msparp with a John. It was really cute when I thought about working it into a chaptered fic so here it is!
John just lost his best friend, Dave to the city. He went out to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional photographer. The thing is, he just up and left. Though he was known to be thinking about it, no one thought he'd actually do it, let alone do it without telling anyone where he was going. Like a criminal, he was gone. He left good old Washington for New York City. No one could find him. Eventually, they gave up. Dave apparently didn't want to be found, his career was more important to him than his past life it seemed. Out of rage, they stopped trying. John cannot get himself to forget about his best friend, his first real crush. He tries to hunt him down with absolutely no clues to work off of but his old pesterlogs. -

Summary
Dave Strider finds a little sticky note in a shop he goes to pretty often. It's nothing but a greeting from some guy named John, and he decides to go along with it just for shits and giggles, and soon he finds himself roped into a very long conversation carried out by sticky notes stuck onto a bulletin board.

Summary
John Egbert lives in the state of Washington where music is illegal. Playing music, making music, talking about music, could get yourself ten years or more in jail. Things became more hectic. Kids became zombies, everything was going all wrong. Nothing was fun anymore, everything was just dragging on. This was something that had to be stopped. John's passion was music, and going to Julliard was something that he planned on doing, but he now considered that dream dead.
John's life was falling apart, that was until a boy named Dave Strider comes along and does something that everyone was afraid of doing: Bringing music back.
Violently.

Summary
Your name is John Egbert and you hate going to school. In the past year alone, you’ve needed your glasses repaired four times and replaced twice. Your chest and stomach are covered in bruises that you haven’t told anyone about. Sometimes you limp, other times you can’t breathe. Once or twice you’ve come home with a black eye.
And you absolutely hate it.

Summary
“No animals on the furniture.” Egbert said in his stern, no nonsense voice. He was languidly stroking Bro's dovetail hair, the elder Strider's head on his knee and a doting expression in those liquid gold eyes. Dave whined, shoving his face against John's soft stomach.
“But daaaad...”

Summary
There are beautiful words that need to be said, words that Dave wants, tries, to say but instead gets stuck, caught in his own desires and nerves. Words catch in his throat, sweet and melancholy, and he tries to swallow, tries to savor the taste, but these words aren't meant to stay trapped or hoarded; they are meant to be heard, meant to flip stomachs and halt time.

Summary
There have always been musicians playing at the subway station; the has-been's, the wanna-be's, the guitarists that have a little talent, but only know three songs. They've been there for as long as you can remember. But one day, when you are about 20, you finally hear something fantastic: a keyboard, played by none other than a certain John Egbert.
