Summary
If they really go back and think about it... it all started with a tree. A Christmas tree, that is. Castiel is human now, and the apocalypse is not only over, it's been averted. Sam's away at NYU, finally finishing law school, and Dean's stuck in what is probably the most awkward situation of his life. He's not exactly sure how he ended up sharing a flat with Cas in Media, Pennsylvania, but he does know the curious would-be angel is sort of derailing his plans for a life of decadence and booze. Cas is trying to make the best of his humanity by exploring human holidays. Dean can't exactly complain because he's pretty much the reason Cas got his wings clipped in the first place.
Dean didn't actually want to fall in love, but how was he supposed to know it would all start with a goddamn tree?

For the summer after Junior year, Puck and Kurt are sent to Sioux Falls, Puck to his mother's cousin, Sheriff Mills, as punishment for his stint in Juvie in hopes that she will "set him straight," and Kurt to escape the Hockey Team's violence and to learn to Hunt like his mother from his Uncle Bobby. They meet at Singer Salvage, where they're both surprised, yet very pleased, to find a familiar face. A few days later a black impala drives up with two bloody Winchesters and an injured Angel. Then all Hell breaks loose....

Summary
The war in Heaven was over and the world was right again. As right as it could be, anyway, considering there were still all manner of monsters and assholes scurrying free across its surface. The All Mighty Father had finally shown his face and cleaned up his mess. Of course, his version of cleaning had been using Dean Winchester as the mighty Swiffer of destruction in Heaven, but hey … it all ended up okay, right?
Only now... Dean finds himself with a houseful of angels that are apparently his, a burgeoning relationship that he as NO IDEA what to do with, and Crowley sneaking about in the shadows. Oh... did he mention that he can somehow heal plants on accident and maybe fix the cracks in plaster by staring at them? Yeah, well... there's that.

Heaven’s boarded up their windows, purgatory's locked up for good, and hell’s gate has been slammed shut and sealed up tight. And yeah, there are still monsters, still ghosts, even demons still walking the earth, but when Dean sticks Ruby’s knife in their guts, they head back home and they stay put.
And life goes on.
