Oh, wow, how do I even summarize this. Based on one of the worst movies ever made? I'm afraid this is kid!fic? Jared and Jensen are not Don Knotts and Tim Conway, or even the characters they played in this movie. Thankfully. Okay, here goes. Forced to stop for a day or two (by the fact that the stagecoach was uncomfortable) on his journey out West, Jensen Ackles finds himself in a small, dusty Nevada town. Passing the time (and trying to win enough money to buy a horse so he never has to take the stagecoach again) with a very lengthy poker game, Jensen finds himself in possession (don't ask) of three orphaned children. With the help of the tall, handsome owner of the General Store, (very convenient, since it takes a lot of supplies to care for children) Jensen makes a home in Red Gulch. Will he and Jared find a way to save the children from their evil uncle, and fall madly in love in the process? (What do you think?)

When Jared inherits a creaky old house from his mysteriously rich great-aunt in rainy New Hampshire all this means to him is more decisions to make. And he is decidedly not good at making decisions. So obviously one of the first things he does after arriving in Sturry is digging a hole. And there his problems only start. Soon after his backyard is taken over by a bunch of dirty, sweaty Viking-obsessed archaeologists and their gorgeous green-eyed leader.
For Jensen discovering a Viking burial ground complete with swords, runes and beautiful ornaments in someone’s backyard seems to be a heaven-sent for his career. If it wasn’t for the huge, annoying and highly distracting owner of said yard and his two equally huge, drooling mutts. So he does not only have to deal with his conniving boss but also with dogs running rampant on his site, women flashing their boobs and the urge to walk around naked after taking showers. -
