Mental Hospital AU. They give him drugs, which he doesn’t take. Instead he smokes endless cigarettes on the small porch, holding hands with Natasha. They don’t speak, much. She tells him, whispering directly into his ear, that they can hear everything, and they will find her. He doesn’t say anything.

But then the Avengers find themselves in possession of a mysterious locked box that could save them all -- if it doesn't kill Tony first.

The Avengers find out that Loki stops his mischief whenever he gets pregnant in order to raise the baby. The solution: get Loki knocked up. Surprisingly enough, Loki seems to be the one coming to them. But he's Loki, and he's just too complicated and elusive to give into whatever the Avengers want.
