He just dumps his stuff next to Jesse’s twin bed, unzips the suitcase and takes out the Tetley teabags he’d bought; puts on a brew. Jesse’s kitchen is very bare and spotlessly clean and smells faintly of bleach. There’s a tin labeled coffee, which is nearly empty, and a tin labeled tea, which, when Andrew pops the lid, is brimming with pill bottles and repeat prescriptions.
He leaves them be, and puts his box of teabags on the windowsill instead.
