This is a series of complete ficlets. I haven't read Bleach fic in a while much less caught up on the manga, but I had a sudden craving for some ficcage so I went looking. I discovered this wonderful author through their fic 'The Beautiful Lie' and have been devouring all of her stuff since. I never read much fic focusing on Shuuhei, but I've always liked his design. I really love how this author wrote him in 'Daring to Breathe'! It's made me like him quite a bit, and I wonder if there are any other authors who write him this way. I also loved all the other characters, I love how the author included them in it. Kenpachi is as badass as always. No one is girly or mushy in this fic, everything is shown through actions and genuine thoughts. I loved it.

This story is exactly the kind of smut I like, where both players are on equal ground and there is a bit of battle for dominance. I was completely enthralled by this story, and Laurab's ability to really play the characters against each other. Both Jin and Mugen stay wonderfully In Character. Who is in power when oral sex is concerned; the giver or receiver? Who will break the other man and make him a quivering mass of desire, making him the loser of the battle? This is just like all their other fights to determine who is better, except that the weapon is sex and both men dont' know as much about their opponent as they think they do.

Oh. My. God. I read this and immediately wrote the author a long letter to tell her how much I liked it. Now, I love Tsunan (Katsu) Tsukioka from RK and I just melted when I found this fic. It's very well written (and first POV is hard, as I've discovered) so it's a real joy to read it when it's well done. Katsu likes his friend, Sano likes him too... and Kenshin. Things get complicated, things get misunderstood, things get steamy. My favourite part was how it was tied up nicely with a threesome. Nuff said.

“That’s a parrot,” Dana says. “We are now a parrot-friendly workplace. We are inclusive of the parrot.”

Summary
Welcome to Port Bowmore, Nova Scotia. Population 700.
Dan and Casey, roommates since college, co-manage the town's sporting goods store. Dan (who is not-so-secretly in love with Casey) spends most of his time hunting the local longshoremen. Casey (who is very secretly in love with Dan) is sleeping with Sally Sasser, the town's ambulance chasing lawyer. When Bobby Bernstein comes to town to recruit Dan for a GM position at SportChek in Halifax, Casey has to confront his feelings for Dan, or lose him to the 'big city'.
