Avon plays Cyrano de Bergerac to help Vila win Blake's affections. I know this sounds cracky, but I played it seriously. Well, seriously cracky. Pretty much everything that happens in canon episodes happens, up until the end of the series where this continues, BUT there are scenes that weren't filmed, and Avon's thoughts, to change your view of canon.
Note: The rape started out consensual, but there was a change of mind, which the partner did not honor. No always means no. Even in the middle of things. Still no.

Blake and Jenna are separated from the Liberator in the aftermath of the battle at Star One. Jenna finds him on Jevron, trying to pick up the pieces of the rebellion.
Blake refuses to deepen their relationship- the rebellion is more important. Blake makes mistakes where Jenna is concerned.
NOTE: The story originally ended with the one chapter, and you may find it more satisfying to stop there. The next chapter has been referred to as a literary cheat. Indeed one indignant reader informed me that 'YOU CAN'T DO THAT'.

Written for an Evil Overlord Ficathon (but Real Life Zapped Me before I could expand this to dialogue) one of the most hapless and hopeless innocents of the Blake's 7 canon was Nova. Pretty much an eager to help puppy in human form, you could see the cross-hairs lined up on him the moment he appeared.
Well, in this story, the puppy decided not to die a good boy. And boy does he get his revenge on the universe. I gave up on warnings- although there's very little detail, he does a lot of horrible things. And gets away with it. ALL.

Summary
Vila gets mistaken for Blake by hero-worshipping rebels. Blake agrees to go along with it rather than upset the rebels- it's only one quick mission, after all, but he can't take Vila's role, as there's safe-cracking involved. Reluctantly, Avon agrees to be Vila- he's not great as a safe-cracker, but adequate, given his own skills and what he'd picked up from watching Vila. Which leaves Blake to be Avon.
How hard could it be? They know each other's mannerisms quite well, so it's not a big deal, is it? And then they discover that the rebels believe romantic rumors about them.

She doesn't remember what her mission was, and she doesn't believe the man when he says she knows him and that she was sent on a mission with him. But he knows her, and more important, he knows the location of a Federation base.
She may have forgot many things, but she knows how to fight the Federation. So long as she watches him, he won't be able to betray her. And if he does, there will be time to kill him first.
