Summary
Joker, Shepard, and the crew of the Normandy are trying to stay afloat after the damage they took in Collector space. They can't know how long they have before the Reapers will arrive, but they are doing everything they can to prepare--including telling off the Council and Cerberus, picking up reinforcements (NO ORIGINAL CHARACTERS), setting up their base of operations on Omega, and trying to crack Reaper technology. Joker/FemShep!

Summary
Shepard wasn't the kind of girl who was raised on happy endings. She didn't expect to make it out of this one alive, but the light at the end of the tunnel could use a new hue. The voice of reason may sound a little tinny, but it presents a plausible alternative.
