Meanwhile, an outsider in the Jedi Temple is making friends and shaking things up, and nobody knows Mace Windu's exact age, but we're sure he disapproves. Besides, someone is out to kill the Chosen One, Jedi philosophy isn't quite hitting the mark, and the Republic is going downhill fast.

Summary
Master Har-Vi Spectyr doesn't want a Padawan; they weigh a guy down. Nevertheless, Master Ysica - she of the terrifying countenance - forces Har-Vi to choose someone, anyone, so long as he trains a youngling and does his duty toward the Jedi Order.
