Summary
When Major John Sheppard shoots Colonel Sumner, he thinks of only one thing: keep the creature feeding on him from learning their secrets. He doesn't think that with that one act, he'll become Alpha of the pack in the Atlantis expedition.
That alone is weird enough, but John still has to navigate his new werewolf pack, military politics, witches, evil space vampires, Genii, and Replicators. There's the bonus complication of the grief, joy, wonder, and terror that is life in the Pegasus Galaxy. Add to that his frustration with--and maybe even feelings for--Dr Rodney McKay, and now the lone-wolf life John once enjoyed is even further behind him than it was the moment he stepped through the stargate and emerged in the city of Atlantis.

Summary
Engineer Rodney McKay went to North Carolina's Crystal Coast to help his sister design a series of bridges. He hoped to rebuild his career following a professional disaster; he didn't expect to be drawn into the small community of Athos Island, where he found friendship and perhaps something more with helicopter pilot John Sheppard. But when Rodney tries to learn more about John's past, what he discovers might tear them apart. (non-Stargate AU)

Notes
Good non-Stargate AU. Rodney + Jeannie = hilarious.

Summary
And then the door chimed, and Woolsey came in looking mournful and anxious, and everything got derailed.
Death and life, hope and hopelessness, aren't just for the Pegasus galaxy. Eventually, inevitably, it's going to happen on Earth. John and Rodney, loss and family and what it means to be home.
Warning: Death of a minor canon character in a way integral to the plot; deals with bereavement and loss suffered by a major character. No major characters die in this story, however.

Summary
Rodney McKay is a Changeling: a human kidnapped by fairies and raised by them, in the Fae Realms, while a false duplicate (with a fiery expiration date of ten years) was raised by his parents. Exiled back in the Mortal world at age 14, he eventually comes to find a place at the SGC, inevitably becoming Head of Sciences of the Atlantis Expedition. There a great number of Fae and half Fae find a place, both in the civilian and military ranks, including his head engineer -a full blooded werewolf, the CMO -a 300 year old centaur, and the Military leader of the expedition, who is secretly a vampire.
Unexpected friendships and more are formed, as the expedition discovers the secrets of Atlantis and finds a way to survive and make allies in the distant Pegasus Galaxy.

Summary
The marriage of Jeannie Elizabeth Miller and David James Sheppard was quite possibly, at least among Canadians with a television and Americans with ties to Wall Street, the biggest event since the invention of the wheel.
But this isn't a story about them; not really.
No, this is a story about their brothers—John Sheppard and Rodney McKay—and the tiny thing (two tiny things, really) that drew them into each other's orbits, unwillingly or not.

Summary
Prince John of America doesn't exactly plan on becoming one half of the most kitschy, dramatic romance of the 20th century. He also doesn't really figure out that that's what's going on until King Rodney, somewhat dramatically, renounces the throne of Canada and manoeuvres John's father into happily agreeing to marry his spare heir off to a man. And then there's the part where John suddenly gets stationed on the most exciting base ever.

Summary
Enforced medical leave and coming out to their families: that's just the start of their problems. A work in progress. AU after Stargate Atlantis season 4.

Notes
Classic in the category: amnesiafic, Earth AU.
... Rodney McKay is an irritable, unhappy genius who suddenly loses all memory of himself and his past life. John Sheppard is his longtime friend who got thrown out of the Air Force for being gay and helps Rodney put his life back together, albeit differently. There is angst, and music is love. ... can be read as well written m/m ofic for those so inclined.

Summary
Rav Caldwell, the rosh yeshiva of Sha'arei ha-Kochavim, was standing with his arm around the new guy. Who was dressed more-or-less exactly like everyone else: black trousers, white shirt, though it seemed to Rodney that he might have left one more button undone at the top of the shirt than was strictly kosher here. Black velvet kippah pinned securely over a fairly obvious cowlick.
