Summary
Following Cuba and the Onslaught debacle, Erik is still with the X-Men. But with the opening of Charles' school and the government’s acknowledgement of mutants, Erik and Charles realize some differences can't be overcome. Now they have to navigate the thinning line between friend and enemy, an increasingly difficult task once Erik starts devoting his full attention to the mutant cause. To make matters worse, Onslaught wants a say in things.

For those who are unaware, Onslaught (as described by Marvel's wiki), is "Magneto’s negative emotions merged with Xavier’s suppressed urges, forming a powerful, dormant psionic entity - the self-dubbed Onslaught." He's a psychic entity trapped within Charles' mind...until he becomes a lot less trapped.

Something like that, anyway. A story in which Charles Xavier is in a crappy band called the X-Men, has a bunch of weird friends who drink a lot, and gets out of fighting most of Erik Lensherr's seven evil ex's.

Origin story for Azazel.
In 1923, Red Army soldiers discover a young child with red skin, a devil's tail and an extraordinary ability haunting a small village in Siberia. The boy, who is taken into custody and delivered to a top secret "orphanage" outside of Moscow, attracts the attention of revolutionary leaders Vladimir Ilyich Lenin and Leon Trotsky.
“Azazel's not a proper name for a boy,” the soldier told him.
“I'm not a boy,” Azazel told him. “I'm a little red devil.” This was what everyone had always said about him, and he accepted it on faith.
The soldier snorted. “You're red anyway, but that's alright, my boy. So am I.”
This was an outrageous lie; even Azazel – who'd up until then had little experience in telling the truth from falsehoods and who would never be especially good at detecting liars – could tell that much. “You aren't even! You – you're white!”
“Now, be careful you don't insult me, comrade. Those are fighting words.”

Takes place after Russia and before Cuba then plays out the rest of the movie. This is my attempt to combine the comics with the movies. It was posted in July on ff.net with one sequel finished and 2 more in the works if my brain will cooperate.
