Loki comes back to earth unaware of the invasion, he is injured and desperate, and unknowingly walks right into a Soul Center(Because his magic is severely drained, he need medical attention, and he thought it was still a hospital), where the Healers knock him out, heal him up, and a soul is inserted into him that takes over his body. But Loki's mind won't fade away like most other humans, he's still Conscious, and withholding his memories form and harassing the Soul in him body.
