Summary
Nash throws the phone across the room. Scrubbing his hands over his face, he takes off out of the back lounge and grabs some clothes. Shoving his arms through the sleeves of his hoodie, Nash ducks his head through the neck and sits down tying his shoes.
“Nash, you okay?”
“Not now, Rk. Not now.”
“What’s going on?”
“Nothing.”
“Nash.”

Summary
Once upon a time, a boy named Chord dated a girl named Emma, and it was grand and lovely and then, rumor has it, she broke his heart. And, to us, breaking Chord Overstreet’s heart is like kicking a puppy. It’s bad, is what we’re saying. We’re sure (or at least J is; H still thinks J is naive), in general, Em’s a really nice girl with a promising acting career, but we weren’t too happy to discover incriminating instagram pictures on 31 March 2012, which pretty much confirmed they were together again, or at least shared a mutual appreciation for waffle fries, milkshakes, and processed chicken with pickles on top. So then we spent the entire Sunday morning of 1 April chatting about it (as you do) on Google Talk, although pretty quickly it turned into something else entirely. (Note from H: This fic is entirely in 'chat' format FYI)

Summary
Okay, so we wrote all of The Chat Crax in a 4.5 hour period on Sunday morning, 1 April, and then (obv) after we, like, ate something and took care of our families and what not, we just kept writing.
This is the result of that from the evening of 1 April. More 'chat' format, and also text messaging, tweeting, etc.
There's Amber and Chord being cute and snuggly, and there's teasing from Nash, and encouragement from Ryan. Just read it. :)

Summary
Takes place directly after the events at the end of Cont'd BATSHIP CRAY CRAY. Nash needs to figure out what just happened back there, so he calls his only brother. Hilarity ensues. Then he's gotta make things right with Ryan. Can it be done? Or are things just too weird now? Read and find out. ;)

Summary
The morning after Stop Thinking/Never Stopped Looking: Nash wakes up first and in the quiet of the day, without Ryan's eyes, he doesn't know what to think all over again. His family is gone for the weekend, and their place only a couple/few hours away, so he goes to the farm by himself to try and clear his head.
We finally got into a bit of actual storytelling in this one. It was three different google docs to begin with (titled Nashie's Interlude/Nash Calls Chord from Nashville/Ry's POV While Nash Figures Things the Fuck Out), but we think they fit well together for posting purposes.

Summary
“Nash, Nash,” he hears and Ry’s hands are on his face, turning him to look into those eyes that Nash knows as well as any in the world and it guts him again. This thing with Ry is everything. “Breathe, babe.”
Nash nods and breathes out feeling Ry’s weight everywhere, always wanted, and breathes again. “Sorry,” Nash whispers.
“Don’t be,” Ry says. “Loving you sneaks up on me sometimes, too.”
Of course he gets it, Nash thinks. Ry understands everything before Nash says it, before he can even find the words, Ry knows.
“I still said it first,” Nash says.

Summary
But now there’s Nash in silhouette, the sun at his back, already under the tent across from Ryan. When Chord lowers the flap back down, Ryan can finally see Nash as they adjust to the dimmer light from the strings hung above them, so they pause and just look at each other. Ryan had known Nash’s suit was dark grey, but he hadn’t known about the black button up underneath it. Open at the collar, no tie, cufflinks, probably Nash’s grandfather’s. God, Ryan loves this man. Even with his silver snakeskin high tops.
Basically, there are nearly 12K words in here of these boys being stupidface in love with each other, okay. <3

Summary
So. This is what happens when the boys have a 10-12 flight delay because they've missed their connecting flight due to 'paperwork'. J & H got a mad case of the giggles just thinking about what if the boys were 'subscribed' here on AO3 and all of them were reading along with Ryan and Nash falling in love in the 'Ryan Never Stopped Looking' 'verse. You want to get inside of two writers minds and see how the process rolls along? This ain't that fic. But, if you want a giggle at the boys being puppies and Ryan and Nash being awkward with each other and then...not so awkward, this is your fic. Read on!!!

Summary
Nash has been quiet lately, hasn't tweeted, hasn't really been out with girls, or his friends, or anyone else. Still ON in front of the camera, always a professional when it comes to rocking out, he can always do the job, but he can't pretend anymore in private, he can't pretend anymore. Ry knows something is wrong, but Nash can't talk to him about this. He can talk to him about every fucking thing else, but not this. Not when Ryan doesn't feel the same way, can't feel the same way. Nash doesn't even know how HE feels, but he knows it's killing him.

Summary
But that’s not what she remembers most from that day.
It was sitting on the stool behind Jamie’s drums and playfully banging those silly sticks around. Until…he was right behind her whispering at her ‘no, like this, duh’ and he put his hands over hers, showing her how to hold the sticks right, and she’d turned around to ask him ‘like this’ and she could feel the smile fall off her face because he was right there.
Up close you could see how blue his eyes were and subconsciously, she tilted her chin out. She could see his eyes and when they looked down at her lips, she held her breath. His hands were still over hers, warm and gentle, and she leaned further back, more into his chest, just slightly.
And then Nash had walked in, coughing.
