Summary
Summary: Through the academy years, Kirk and McCoy share a secret. Kirk runs underground fight clubs for men to work off their frustrations. How will he rein himself in and become fit for command?
While artistic liberties were taken with the timeline and while the Fight Club book and movie are heavily referenced, it’s mostly business as usual for the boys.
Intriguing snippet: Kirk had stripped to the waist, his lean, muscled torso covered in a sheen of perspiration, his sweat pants riding so low that McCoy could make out a fine line of hairs beckoning beyond the waist band.Warnings: dirty, rough sex, language, violence (not too graphic but there is some blood so beware if you are super-squeamish),and some mild cut lip kink
Disclaimer: I mean no offence and court no profits, these boys belong to others more talented and deserving, I merely borrow them, play a while then return them all cleaned up and smiley.

Notes
It's an AU wherein Mike is an indebted servant (in a society where such a thing is legal) with a sadistic master, and Harvey acquires him, and there's a slow build with plenty of time for a reader to become completely invested in the characters, even the original ones.
This is typically the type of fic I shy away from because hurt/comfort seems like such a cliché trope, but I read this based on the number of positive comments and I was really, really pleasantly surprised.

The Klingons have a myth of a device they call Hash’ak’gik, the engine of chaos and creation, and according to legend it can bestow souls upon those without. The Augments have waited a very long time so when a picture of a box that seems to do this one of them will go to the edges of the universe without understanding what it would mean to actually handle the Soulcube.

No knowledge of all fandoms necessary - you just need to trust that some things are from other fandoms woven in, if you treat it like original or au you'll be fine.

Summary
The life and times of Leonard H. McCoy MD/PhD continues on, in ways he had never contemplated as remotely possible. Nearing the end of their first five year mission, Leo takes Jim home to Georgia for Christmas 2262 which falls just before Jim’s 30th birthday. Written for the Space_Wrapped 2011 Christmas challenge on Live Journal for prompt #46, which asked for Christmas at the McCoy family home, sap and lots of it.
