    This is, bar none, the best Sahara fic I have ever read. This is what all the other Sahara fanfic wants to be when it grows up. Well-researched with strong narrative and spot-on dialog, this could easily pass for a sequel. Dirk and Al's interplay is extremely well done. This story captures the chemistry I see between them in the movie, and does it in a subtle, natural way.
