Summary
"Amazing," John says. He's not sure why he's so impressed by someone ferreting out one of his most embarrassing traits so easily; perhaps it's because no one has ever done it that quickly without any input from John. Or perhaps it's because Sherlock has yet to give him that look of pity that witches and wizards- even his parents, even Mike- always give him when they talk about squibs.
Sherlock stares at him. "What?"

Summary
Dr. John Watson, Royal Army Veterinarian and disabled veteran takes on the care of a horse with behavior issues. This is the story of friendship between a man and a horse. In the process he makes friends and finds love.
I consulted a few people on this. So thank you to Bex and Ashes for general grammar checks, to Sandra, Johnny, and DeathEchoes for their equine expertise, and Abundantlyqueer for her confirmation that my Military Veterinarian John is plausible.
Please note that I am a compulsive reviser. So I will re-write portions after things have been seen by my editors. So any mistakes you see are mine, not theirs. Please feel free to point them out! :-)

Summary
The Inter-House Challenge: also known as the bane of John Watson's existence. He turned the card over in his hands once more- emerald green, the stock heavy- and eyed the spidery silver scrawl on it with more trepidation than seemed reasonable. A lot of other boys were mentoring Slytherins, so why should he be so nervous?
John sat down on the edge of his bed, the card in his hands, and stared at the name written there. If he were honest with himself, he knew he wasn't worried because the boy was a Slytherin, or a pureblood, or wildly wealthy. He was worried because the boy was Sherlock Holmes.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Follows a similar plot to A Study in Pink. John is a sixth-year, Sherlock a fifth-year, but that doesn't mean that Auror Lestrade doesn't need their help once a wizard begins poisoning Muggles in what Muggle police falsely believe to be serial suicides.(This work is now complete, but because I do my own beta-ing I'll be doing some minor tweaking and editing until I consider it as flawless as I can manage.)

Fairly close to the prompt. Smitten!Jim is lusting after a very toppy!BAMF!John, but things aren't entirely what they seem.
Written for the prompt: #2 "I would love to see a sexy (Sherlock BBC) Jim/John ficlet with consensual shagging or even just snogging (especially if it features a Smitten!Jim and Toppy!BAMF!John). Any rating. There’s so little Moriarty/John out there and I adore your stories so your take on that pairing would be utterly fantastic." - Lyrical-sky

“Nothing happens to me,” John replies. He pulls the bag back on again and straightens up, “I can only hope that applies today.”

Don't want to give anything away because we're still planning some of the chapters, but this is going to basically be a book length crossover fanfiction (around 150,000 words) when we're finished with it. Me and my friend Aleisha - who doesn't have an account on here but is an amazing author - are writing it together and this is probably the most serious thing I've ever written.
We both hope you enjoy reading it as much as we're going to enjoy writing it. We'll try to update once every couple of weeks to a month at the latest seeing as every chapter is going to be at least 5,000 words.

This is the story of how Icarus fell.

Summary
He doesn’t have a ‘last thought’ before going over the falls. To have one singular last thought would imply that he is only capable of having one thought at a time, which is just preposterous. He has last thoughts, certainly, ranging from “two hundred and seventy-nine meter fall into thirty meters of water, will reach terminal velocity in approximately seventy-two meters” to “oh, what a lovely draft,” but one, singular, lonely little last thought?
Absolutely not.
Or, Sherlock Holmes on chess.
