Four months after Sherlock's death, John is brutally attacked on his way home from work. He wakes a week later, no memory of the past few years, but a shoe box full of letters promises to explain everything. He just wishes he could remember the life his letters tell him about, and most of all he wishes he could remember how he came to be married to a man.

They feed him his favourite meal, fix him a warm bed in front of the fireplace, soothe him when he wakes up screaming from nightmares... and oh yeah, slowly, lovingly turn him into their sexual pet.

Sherlock Holmes is a stand in stills photographer for his friend Jalen Chang, who is doing a documentary on the team for her University's Media Studies class.
John is interested in Sherlock straight away, and uses his nipple to try and seduce the aloof photographer.
Because when has Johns lucky nipple never worked before?
But it seems Sherlock is made of sterner stuff and John may have to try a little bit harder to win the heart and dangly bits of this distracting and ethereal man.

Which is when John does something quite stupid: he falls in love. Twice.
