Prompt: (my prompt) Mating imperative. For some reason (maybe some change Jolinar did to her body, or which caused her to react this way to an alien fruit) Samantha Carter is in heat and needs to mate. I would prefer to see her pick/jump Martouf/Lantash (who may be trying to hold her off/feel he should not take advantage of the situation).

Summary
The war is over and Shepard has destroyed the Reapers but at great cost with the sacrifice of many. The crew of the Normandy spearhead the search for Shepard while figuring out a way to get to Earth without the convenience of the Mass Relays which in and of itself is a problem all aboard the ship will have to tackle. Shepard would never leave one of her own behind and the Normandy crew has no intention of turning their backs on her, but it won't be easy. Shepard has a lot to deal with in the aftermath as well as everyone who has survived the almost entire destruction of all Galactic civilization while her crew have their own problems to deal with.
Lots of xenophilia, smut, fluff, love, romance, minor fight scenes, dark thoughts, and memories ahead. I hope you enjoy. I suck at summaries.

Ianto Jones never worked for Torchwood London. Instead, he opened a small coffee shop and bakery near the Millennium Plaza. Enter Captain Jack Harkness, in search for his morning cup of coffee. Not only does he find a coffee shop he wants to stay in business, but he also finds a friend in the shop's owner. And maybe, he's found something more.
This story loosely follows the original series, but focuses primarily on Jack and Ianto's relationship. JANTO EVENTUALLY!!!
