Written as a fill on the Dragon Age Kinkmeme. Sort of in response to the original prompt of Sinbad/DA2 crossover, but many liberties were taken. Hawke has no heart, Fenris has no patience, and Anders has no class. A trip to the mythical gallows to find the Book of Justice leads to adventure, romance, dog drool and pickles. The dwarf was waiting in the Hanged Man.

Summary
Isabela knows that Hawke is still caught up on Fenris after all this time, even if she would never openly admit to it. Feed up with seeing her friend so depressed, the pirate decides to take matters into her own hands. When Hawke's group stumbles upon a certain former assassin from her past, Isabela quickly hatches a plan with his help to get the lonely mage the attention she deserves, one way or another.
Meanwhile, Fenris struggles to distance himself from the one person he has ever felt any real connection to. Caught between unacknowledged feelings for Hawke and anger at how her magic affects both his markings and his resolve with a single touch, the elf shows his one-time lover nothing but outward disdain while secretly throwing himself between her and any opponent who would dare attempt to cause her harm. Anders shifted back, trying to edge away from the heat cast by the big warrior’s body; his back came up against the post, staff dropping from nerveless fingers and clattering to the floor. Hawke’s lips curved in bemused victory—damn him—as he pressed his advantage, moving in even closer. One big, gauntleted hand pressed against Anders’ chest, keeping him pinned in place.
This is all your fault, Anders thought to Justice, fighting the flush that wanted to immolate him from the inside out.
