    Summary

Thanks to Sherlock's inability to resist satisfying his curiosity, he's been turned into a small child of about seven (or five, depending on who you're asking) years old. Rather than let Sherlock be taken to a laboratory, John volunteers to look after him. After all, he's had to look after a man-child, how hard can a child-child be?

Poor John. He has no idea.

[Features paternal!Lestrade in small doses and eventual Johnlock after Sherlock grows up again]

    Summary

“They do say an Englishman’s home is her castle,” she remarked finally, quiet and calm, then let the words settle in the empty air and glanced tentatively upwards, as if ascertaining that nothing had changed; that the world was still standing in the wake of her saying that aloud.

1889. Paradoxically, the rules of society protect Sherlock Holmes. As long as her secret is unthinkable, it is undetectable—until she meets the sharp, scandalous and startlingly free Irene Adler, who thinks of everything. A retelling of A Scandal in Bohemia, complete with a thousand disguises, lies and masks, a secret buried in the artistic world of late nineteenth century Paris and revenge against royalty.

    Summary

Retelling of A Scandal in Bohemia, in which Sherlock meets his match and John laughs and laughs.

If John had known they were in for celebrities today, he’d have made more of an effort to, well, put on trousers, for one thing.

And there never was an apple, in Adam's opinion, that wasn't worth the trouble you got into for eating it.

    Summary

John Watson has seen terrible things and come back physically and mentally whole. Changed, but whole, and positive that if Afghanistan couldn't break him than England sure as hell won’t. Then came Gwen Norton, the beautiful, fierce white wolf with eyes like fire, and the rest of Irene Adler’s pack. Then came the hounds of the Baskervilles.

    Summary

A modern-day re-imagining of A Scandal in Bohemia with a few alterations, deeper character explorations, and the inclusion of that guy that Irene Adler married at the end of the story whom everyone seems to forget. You know, Godfrey Norton? Top barrister, supportive lover, and overall dark, handsome, and dashing gentleman?

In which Irene causes trouble (or may be in trouble), Sherlock doubts himself and is reviled by emotions, Godfrey is the unknowing cause of this whole mess, Mycroft is Mycroft, and John knows that, in the end, it's all fine.

Definitely an AU from s2e01 of Sherlock.
