Summary
(Post-movie AU.) Five years after Shaw's death, Erik's predictions prove painfully accurate. Violence rages on both sides of the human/mutant conflict. In a world ravaged by war, it doesn't really matter who's more at fault. Charles struggles to teach his students a better way, but what choices will he make when peace really isn't an option?

She declines to go with them, but warns Charles that Erik will hurt him in a way that nobody ever has before, that Charles won't be able to feel afterwards. What she's talking about is Charles being shot in the spine, of course, but Charles is so wrapped up in his newly-found desire for Erik that he assumes she's talking about an emotional betrayal, and gets paranoid..."

From this prompt: At the end of the film Charles can't walk. But, if I remember right, in X3 in the flashback to when he and Eric met Jean Grey he could. And then in the first X-Men film (which is obviously set after the flashback) he can't again.
I want an explanation.
