In ancient China, mystics developed a understanding of life based on the observation of nature. They understood that everything in the Universe comes out of the ‘un-nameable’. Along with the law of Yin and Yang, the ancient Taoists observed a pattern of expression in nature that they interpreted as and named the Wu Xing. These elements were Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. The Elements are representations of the transformation that occurs in the world around us; they are metaphors for describing how things interact and relate with each other. Everything is made up of some combination of these elements: people, music, art and so on. All can be examined and understood from the perspective of the Five Elements. So then what would happen if these so called “five elements” became living breathing human beings? Nothing good, you would presume. However they band together like, well, like a band. One Direction is the living personification of what the Chinese mystics believed, but they don’t know that yet. They just need the spark to set them into action, and do what they were born for; it is after all, hidden in their history.

The Hawke family was used to life throwing hardship their way. Facing a Darkspawn army, fighting for life and freedom, meeting dangerous witches, it was all just life as usual. Sekhmet would fight to protect them even with her last breath. She had made a promise to Papa and she intended on keeping it, it was the least she could do after what she had done.
The story is pretty mild so far, rating will change as the story progresses. It is slightly AU as it fits into my Relationship In Pieces Universe.
