Summary
With the first semester of culinary school completed, Arthur, Eames, and Ariadne continue to hone their skills in the culinary arts, focusing a bit more deeply on courses that will help them get the sort of job they want, upon completion of their degrees. This semester, as part of the curriculum (and to help them get an idea of what a job in the culinary industry looks like, outside the classroom), they each have the opportunity to take an internship with a bakery or restaurant in the Los Angeles area. As they get a good look at what a real professional kitchen looks like, they also test their respective relationships and friendships, discovering whether they can take the heat, after all. Bookmarker's Notes
OK. I had forgotten that Tom Hardy was Eames, and then when he showed up, my mind supplied the image. Isn't that weird. I really must love John Watson, cuz I am totally helpless to resist any story with BAMF!John in it. I've reread the battle scene three times already. Onward!

Summary
Something in her rebels against this casual, passive seduction. God knows why, but she’s sitting up in the water, taking her foot back from Eames and dislodging Arthur’s hands from her back. She stands, wet underwear clinging ridiculously to her, and says to Arthur, “All right. Your turn.”
Ariadne comes into her own, with the help of some epic metaphors, mythological overtones, architectural experiments, and target practice.
