Summary
So I have a prompt list. Several actually. And every day I write a short story based off my prompt word/phrase of the day.
All of them are Silmarillion-related (dips into The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings here and there).
Expect everything ranging from utterly cliche romance to mildly explicit gore and horror. No one ever said Arda was a nice place.
But do note that I won't be posting any smut here. Prompts are meaningful snapshots, and unless the sex is really important, I'll be skipping it to get to the point.

Summary
Why did Glorfindel return to Middle-earth? Maybe the Valar decided they needed a messenger. Maybe he felt he still had something to do there and begged them to let him return. Or maybe it went something like this...
It's the early Second Age and Idril is worried about her grandsons. In the course of this she waylays new arrivals to Valinor, tries to find her footing with her own grandmother, schemes with Tuor, Finrod and Glorfindel, and finally sets a plan into motion.

Summary
The city of Gondolin is at peace, and yet several of its citizens harbour resentments, ambitions, and unnatural desires: Maeglin longs to assume his rightful position as Turgon's heir and Idril's spouse; Salgant hopes to avenge himself for past humiliations; and Ecthelion and Glorfindel indulge in deception even as they devote their lives to duty.
Many secrets will be revealed, but only slowly and with much confusion, in this comedy of misunderstandings.

Summary
Of the House of Finwe, Aredhel may be the one who most values personal freedom--and nevertheless we see her spending long periods confined: first to Gondolin, then to Nan Elmoth.
This is a story about Aredhel's choices and how she came to make them. Unlike other stories about Aredhel, it shows her discussing them with her eldest cousin, Maedhros, son of Feanor.Series
