Summary
The apocalypse happened, just not how the Winchesters expected. The world is overrun with the Undead, and Dean Winchester finds himself on the road, without any memories, as one of the things he's sure to have killed easily just a while ago. It's easy to give up and turn into monster but harder to piece together the strange events that led him here. Harder still is finding Sam, and his other friends, in a drastically different, wasteland zombie-run America.

Summary
Castiel Novak is different, and this is something he's know all of his life. It's not just the fact that he's a highly intelligent awkward loner who finds it practically impossible to communicate like a normal human being. What sets him apart the most is the fact that he has a pair of wings sprouting from his back. However, due to the stigma of society and his wish to remain primarily unnoticed in high school, Castiel is forced to hide his wings from prying eyes.
Things take an odd turn when Dean Winchester appears to begin to take an interest him, especially since it's never been much of a secret that Castiel hates his guts.

Summary
Summary: This was supposed to be a simple cursed object case. Locate, retrieve, and lock up, you know.
Since they are the Winchesters, things are never simple, though.
With flashbacks of a past that never happened, a frighteningly clueless brother and time missing from his memory, Dean’s pretty sure he’s losing his grasp on reality.
Wouldn’t be the first time, only his delusions never before made him wish they were true. -

Summary
It's an unspoken understanding between Castiel and Benny, in Purgatory, that they have to keep Dean alive, and not just because he's risking his life to get them home. It's an unspoken understanding that Dean begins to crumble when one of them makes it out, and the other stays behind. It's an unspoken respect that stops Benny from keeping Dean to himself. It's an unspoken need, when they're reunited, to show Dean that he is loved and cherished, and worth everything he thinks he'd not.
