Summary
Stiles gets inspired by a badly injured Derek returns to the pack after being attacked by hunters. Stiles decides he’s going to go and find if he can train himself to become a better protector for his friends. Derek somehow senses that Stiles is going to leave, comes to his house to beg him to stay. Stiles and Derek were not together at this time, but they do share a passionate night together; which leaves Derek unknowingly by Stiles marked by him. Stiles leaves in the night, leaving a sleeping Derek in his bed.
Cut to years later, Stiles comes back to town with a pack of his own of hunters that share his vision, to protect those they love despite their species. Stiles sees that over the years someone had kid(s), and sees that they share an strong resemblance to Derek. Stiles thinks that Derek moved on, up until his father comes along and introduces the children to be his grandchildren. That and Derek’s been missing for a few days by then. It a new pack has come into town, and they are one of the suspected groups to be behind Derek’s disappearance; the other being a not-so-new group of rouge hunters, being led by Allison.

Summary
AU. After Stiles' dad died in the Hale fire, the Argents took him in, left Beacon Hills and trained him to be a Hunter. They give him weapons and tell him the family business- Hunting- is a lifestyle, not a job. Especially for them. Argents are Hunter royalty, as it turns out, so Genim has a lot to live up to, even though Allison- his sister, of sorts- won’t find out until later on. She’ll lead them, in her time, whereas Stiles will fight for them, a soldier. Stiles always did like Captain America, it has to be said.
Or the one where Stiles is a good Hunter that manages to fall in love with Derek Hale. This... is not his day.

AU: Stile's mother was killed by werewolves. Sheriff Stilinski handed in his badge and turned hunter, is loosley allied with Chris Argent, and Stiles in in the family business. He and Allison are childhood buddies and platonic partners. No-one lives in Beacon Hills except the Hales (and Scott).
Stiles and Allison got tutored by Kate Argent and that didn't turn out too well. They've strayed off the path and are getting careless, and definitely not sticking to the Code.
And Kate's given them the name of a new rogue werewolf target. Derek Hale.
