Summary
For those of you who have read "The Book Thief", this is a Larry Stylinson version. I just had to reread the book for my english class and while it has never been one of my favorite books, I like the whole idea behind it so I'm trying this.

By his sister's graveside, Louis Tomlinson's life is changed when he picks up single object, partially hidden in the snow. It is "The Gravedigger's Handbook", left there by accident, and it is his first act of book thievery. So begins a love affair with books and words, as Louis, with the help of his accordion-playing foster father, learns to read. Soon he is stealing books from Nazi book-burnings, the mayor's wife's library, wherever there are books to be found.
But these are dangerous times. When Louis' foster family hides a Jew in their basement, Louis' world is both opened up and closed down.- Words:

Enjolras has never showed him anymore than reluctant acceptance. To feel close to him, Grantaire paints and sketches his Apollo as best he can but it's a waste of paint. He can't seem to capture his more than perfect image. Until, without warning, Enjolras starts warming up to him. He touches him more, includes him more deeply into their activities. Set in modern day Rouen, France. The boys are all students (except for Feuilly) and they've come together to form the ABC, a group that picks up causes and plans out protests and volunteer work. Very liberal, very people oriented. I'm going to be using real French issues, as well as world wide issues. I'm American, please bear with me.

The pickup truck was painted a deep shade of purple, and a cloud of red dust ran out behind it like a cape. Sitting on the bumper of his broken-down Rambler Cross Country, Charles saw it coming from a long way off.
He stood up and waved his arms, and the truck pulled over to the side of the road opposite of him. Charles tried to get a look at the person behind the wheel, but he was blinded temporarily by a flash of sunlight reflecting off the shining chrome of the truck’s forked hood ornament.
