Summary
In a time of conquistadors and brigands, Peter Burke is an officer of the Royal Navy. Neal Caffrey is not quite a pirate. They run into each other on the high seas, and have several epiphanies, some disastrous, some fortuitous - disastrous in the sense that Burke discovers the temptations of sin, and fortuitous in the sense that Caffrey discovers the bindings of honor. Neither of them, at any rate, escapes unchanged.
