Summary
After Thor takes Loki back to Asgard to stand trial, Clint finds himself growing more and more confused over what happened between him and Loki, and how he feels about all of it. But when Fury directs him to go interrogate a S.H.I.E.L.D. prisoner - Methos - who's evidently had contact with Loki during his time in jail, Clint finds himself getting all the answers he never knew he wanted, and all the reasons in the world to return to his god.
For Methos, conscience stripped bare by fifteen years of imprisonment, the persona of Death the only thing left to him, has his own vengeance to pursue, promised to him by Loki, and he’s willing to do anything to guarantee it. Including manipulating this human in releasing him.
Including helping Loki succeed where he failed once before.
