Summary
“Oh God,” he mutters, helping her wearily up from her dramatic pile upon the floor, “it’s the summer holidays, isn’t it?”
Blanche simply gives him a despairing look in response. An incredibly despairing look, a passionate one that he’s pretty sure would even put even his eleven year old self to shame, “Hal and Tom are being weird!”

Henry is wearing a dress.
“Henry,” he says helpfully, for he feels that the man should be made aware of this fact as soon as possible, “you’re wearing a dress.”
“I know,” Henry only… Grins in reply, tramps inelegantly across the room to place a kiss upon his forehead, “doesn’t it look lovely?”

Summary
Hurled into the distant past by an astrologer-sorcerer's spell, Henry and his retinue must learn to trust the solitary Frenchman in their midst if ever they are to go home again.
In their struggle to return, they have adventures in three geological periods, and encounter some of the fiercest predators that have ever existed. How will longbows match up to these creatures?
Crossover inspired by the fact that Kenneth Branagh, who directed and starred in the 1989 Henry V, also narrated the "Walking with..." series (in the British and Australian versions at least.)
ETA Jan 2013: The sequel, 'Star of England', is here at my LJ: http://hyarrowen.livejournal.com/25151.html
