Steve has moved into Stark Tower with Tony. Life is great, but boring, so he takes it upon himself to sample a fraction of the hard work Pepper struggled with as Tony's assistant. He starts with sorting Tony's mail and is given a crash course into the world of Tony's colorful past full of hate mail, court orders and pregnancy scares.
Then he reads a letter from a woman that has no apparent reason to lie.
It says that Tony has a daughter. A 24 year old daughter living in New York.

Derek stops short the moment his eyes fall on the huddled mass in the corner. It takes Derek almost a full minute to realize who it is and another to realize that he’s wearing tattered, blood-stained remains of the clothes he disappeared in over four months ago.
