Stripped to her shirtsleeves, black mane tumbling over her shoulders, she laces her fingers behind her head and regards Dualscar's man for just long enough to be really worrying before saying "Well? Why are you taking up space on my ship and dripping on my deck?"
He doesn't have a hat, but if he did, he'd be twiddling it anxiously in his hands right now. You go on sewing tiny neat stitches into the rip in her coat's lining, but you are listening hard.
"It's my Cap'n, yer 'onor," he tells the deck.
"What is?" Mindfang is enjoying herself so obviously that you start to feel echoes of it rippling along the link she's forged for herself into your head.
"He's...hurt bad, marm. Terrible bad."

When he wakes up, he's fine apart from a broken arm and a concussion, but he starts having dreams which consistently star a man he doesn't recognise. Desperate to find out who the man is, he draws him repeatedly, worrying his siblings Anna and Gabriel, who are afraid he's suffered some sort of brain trauma from the accident. When Castiel starts seeing the man outside of his dreams as well, he starts to worry they might be right.

Steve Rogers had a busy life. With his job as a nurse, he barely had enough time to think about a social life.
But that hadn’t stopped him from hearing about Loki Laufeyson; after all, he was Steve’s closest friend’s adopted brother.
Apparently Loki was known as the slut, the whore and the BAMF of his campus and it was generally accepted that that was what he was. But that didn’t mean Steve had to approve of the rambunctious behaviour.
It is only until a horrible accident in the aftermath of an engagement with a "client" that leaves Loki emotionally and physically incapacitated that Loki has no choice but to start listening to Steve’s advice regarding his promiscuous behaviour.
Maybe Loki will even help Steve with some problems he didn’t even know he had.
Maybe they will find some comfort in each other’s fragmented hearts and eventually heal from the pain they were so ignorant of.
