A fill for this prompt: Maybe a group of (rogue?) Templars try to perform the rite of tranquility on Anders, but Hawke and Co. stop them before they can finish, leaving Anders cut off from the fade but not "fully" tranquil.
Or maybe a Tevinter magister convinces Vengeance to possess him, and the transfer leaves Anders alive but drained of all magic. Hawke and Co. could find him amongst slaves they're helping sneak out of the Imperium?
However it happens I'm really interested to see how Anders deals with suddenly being a non-possessed, non-magical person. How does he feel about other mages now; jealous? afraid? Will someone teach him to fight with weapons or will he just try to do as much non-magical healing as possible? Whether he gets his powers back eventually is up to you, but he should be without them for years, not weeks.
I'm partial to slash (imo it's a good setup for some slow burn Fenders), but any pairing will do as long as there is an epic demagicked!Anders identity crisis.

A little story I did about a Hawke that is not mine, but who I love dearly for some odd reason. Marric Hawke, a smart-mouthed, always teasing, never serious, with ridiculous red hair and gorgeous bright green eyes. With an easy laugh, a good heart, and a thing for taciturn elves.
Fenris and Marric find themselves on the Wounded Coast, and as per usual.. trouble always finds them, and perhaps a bit more?
I will be adding a few chapters - I expect this to be a little mini-series because I loved writing it.
