Merlin (literally) runs into Arthur Pendragon and, after Arthur dumps a bucket on his head, he decides they're mortal enemies. A prank war ensues in which coworkers act like five-year-olds, Merlin is oblivious to what Arthur's trying to say, and he learns that, sometimes, people get burned. For real. And that a prat might turn out to be a pretty decent guy.

The peace that arises following the Battle of Camlann will not last, though, and a new magical threat arises that isn't so happy about the defeat of Morgana- one that will threaten the future of Albion and the peaceful kingdom that Merlin and Arthur have so tirelessly worked to build. -

Summary
snippets from a verse where magic is legal (Uther accepted that Ygraine died of childbirth, not magic shenanigans) and Merlin's a girl. Grew up in Camelot, and given Balinor's status at court, was Morgana's playmate, then became her lady-in-waiting. And due to a really regrettable incident where she saved Arthur's life, is now the prat's bodyguard.
They're not in any particular order and I don't have a coherent plot yet, so... snippets. I'll mark the ones that get a bit more plot-ish.

The cold rises like a wall between Arthur and Merlin, at the worst possible time, because the Battle of Camlann is coming.
