When Red was a baby, his parents were killed and he was left to be raised in Pallet Town by his aunt, Delia Ketchum, her husband Vernon and they kind of just left him in a cupboard in order to focus on their son, Ash. On Red’s eleventh birthday, a man with no eyes gives him a letter inviting him to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hoping to find more from life, Red leaves his cupboard and dreams of becoming a Pokémon Master to embark on a very strange journey in a world filled with people whose hair defies gravity, strange social conventions and the leftovers of the evil Team Rocket trying to kill him and revive their fallen leader, the Dark Lord Giovanni — or at least his cause. Aided by his best friends and sometimes even his rivals, Red tries his best to stop Team Rocket and still works on the side on that Pokémon Master dream.
