· Note: This fic tends to assume that the reader is familiar with Lily from "Wings of the Storm Crow", at certain points, so some things may be lost in translation if you haven't read the other series. Warning: This fic explores abuse themes. I haven't had an always-pleasant life, and I'm not pulling any punches or making any apologies for the facts. Her past is my life, and her reactions to things are my way of doing things - warts and all - with just a few tweaks to make it possible for her to exist.
