The Ψiioniic is dead and Her Imperious Condescension has 1000 sweeps left as her ship slows to find a planet for refuge.
The one she finds is crawling with life, from miniature lususes to hornless trolls. At first she attempts to take over, murdering in cold blood the few humans who are around in the dark of night.
But one crocker-pot old man gets in the way and convinces her that maybe, she can handle ruling something a bit smaller than an entire planet for a change.

You destroy a universe (with help, of course) and when you wake up in your bed on an Earth that is whole and totally not a ruin, you think things are pretty great. When you find there are three trolls with you, alive and well (and ok, angry too), you think things are pretty fantastic. When you find out your friends are alive, they're in their own beds and homes and have their own trollish company, you think things couldn't be better.
You couldn't be more wrong.
Well, actually, that's a lie. Everyone agrees that this is better than dying out in the veil, right? And it won't be that hard to settle a dozen trolls onto Earth, will it? It's just that when you dreamed about meeting up with everyone and making friends, this wasn't quite (or at all) what you expected.
