Summary
Steve has been out of the ice for a year. He's lead the Avengers against Loki and his Chitauri Army, made allies and friends, largely adjusted to life in the 21st century, and now, to the delight of many, he's regained his interest in the fairer sex.
Problem is that his crush happens to be Sharon Carter, grand-niece and near-doppelganger of his old flame.
Awkwardness abounds.

"The tower looked like an apocalyptic wasteland. A soft blue mist descended over the exposed metal infrastructure, and George could hear helicopters approaching in the distance. With the pulse of adrenaline fading in his veins, George had the urge to lie down, to lean his head against cold steel and close his eyes to this changed world, but the relentless chorus of sirens called him to duty. He had to face the boy."
