Summary

Part 2 of The Return of Starman
Continues immediately following the events in Part 1.
This story was edited by Zena. She wrote the first and the last scene/paragraph for this book. Also all funny scenes with the ghost are written by her.
Although his family knows that Paul is kept in the research center, nobody visits him. Paul knows that Scott has left the country and that he’ll never see him again. Jenny becomes very sick and can’t visit him either. Forrester thinks everything is his fault. He nearly dies. After he is brought back the general decides to move him out and gives him limited freedom.

Summary
Set in September 2005.
After reuniting with Jenny, the FSA captures the whole family and Starman gives himself in the hands of the military with the condition to let Jenny and Scott go. After an unsuccessful rescue attempt his family is told that Starman had died. He is moved to a secret research center and stays there for the next 19 years without his family knowing of his existence. To keep the number of persons knowing of him as small as possible, George Fox becomes the leader of the research center. Then, almost two decades later, the government finds out that Jenny has written a book about her alien lover lately. Starman’s condition isn’t good after being kept in isolation all these years. George’s last duty before he retires is to make Jenny pull the book. Circumstances lead to the point that he takes Starman with him when he goes to see Jenny about the book. Ben steals the spheres from the safe, knowing this trip is Paul’s only chance to escape.

Paul and Scott are free, the hunt is over, Fox assumed dead. They still live at the farm owned by the older couple. The government wants to have a meeting with everyone who knew the alien and his son to talk to them in person. Dr. Ellen Duchow visits Paul, since Wylie has called her to check on him. The same day Liz Baynes comes to the farm as well, also informed that Paul is living here now in peace. Kathryn Bradford follows the next day, as well as Mark Shermin. When the meeting takes place, George Fox suddenly pops up and orders Forrester to surrender.
