Meanwhile, Charles Xavier learns how to be a free man, a hero, and Champion Elect. Erik Lensherr learns how to be a friend, and how to be more than a friend. And Lord Sebastian Shaw learns he may have made a mistake.Part two of my (now with a name) AU series; in which everyone learns, if not to how to live Happily Ever After, then at least, happily. Apart from the villain(s) of the piece, who must adjust to their plans being stymied.

Summary
Magneto killed Shaw, it had to be done for the sake of mutant-kind but what he wasn't expecting to find hidden deep with Shaw's complex was a man held captive, obviously tortured, that somehow made Magneto turn into Erik.
Erik now has a potential human in his citadel as he continues the war with the human's.

Erik hates the cold and feels it very easily, which leads to him covering up like an Eskimo, even though it's summer. Charles is baffled at this. Erik is baffled that Charles wears the same thing all year round. Charles is “a creature of the mind.” (Inspired by Head Canon, inside, of motleypatches (tumblr), and the fourth of four stories started and finished, except this one, on Saturday 9th March 2013.)

He hasn’t been to see a play…there is a chance he’s never been to see a play. His life before Genosha had been consumed with hardship and a nail-breaking, clawing, struggle for survival. He hasn’t had time for frivolities, for useless and impractical time wasting endeavors like music, or dance or the theatre. He sits back in his chair now, chin propped on one hand, one long leg crossed over the other, and prepares himself to endure.
