Summary
Homestuck/Apocalypse AU. On an Alternia inhabited by trolls and humans, it was prophesied years ago that when the birth of the Son of the Messiah came to be, the world had only five sweeps remaining until the end. A baby boy is found on the steps of the MatriChurch, and is given the name Karkat Vantas--while a necklace of the Signless is found around his neck. The sign of the Messiah. Hidden away by his surrogate mother-sister Kanaya and her fellow Sisters, it is hoped that the prophecy won't come true--but when meteors are sighted on his fourteenth birthday, and demons and angels come a-knocking, the end seems to be coming, and there are two fates ahead of Karkat: kidnapped by the demons, who use his power to burn the world, or kidnapped by the angels, who use his power to 'cleanse' the world. As a last ditch effort, Kanaya elicits the Seer of Light's help, whose cousin is the Knight of Time--a Knight who will be paid handsomely if he can safely escort Karkat to the mysterious Altar of Blood on the other side of the planet, perhaps the only possible third option that will stop The End. The only problem? It's looking like Dave's falling for the New Messiah, whose blood will be spilled regardless of the option they choose.

This is how the trolls got to Earth.In an effort to try to radically change Alternian Society among adult Trolls, Feferi Peixes runs for democratic office, with the help of her manager, Karkat Vantas, and her moirail, Eridan Ampora. Things go horribly, terribly wrong when a rally with highbloods turns chaotic. Karkat tries to find some sort of normalcy and resides with Terezi Pyrope, a famous legislacerator, until a fateful day when she herself falls victim to the very society Feferi is trying to change.

That which is broken can be put back together, but they'll never truly be the same again.
Twenty children (and that's what they were, are, will be) played a game and won a universe. They won 'Life' and 'Normal', but the shadows are always filled with terrifying things. The 'Boggart Incidents' threatened to destabilize their shaky equilibrium not only within themselves but without.
Everyone just wants to feel safe in the dark.

They won the game. But the Earth they returned to wasn't the same. The beta kids had only been missing from their homes for a day, and SBURB never existed.
