Summary
I fell asleep watching Stardust and woke up to the dulcet tones of my Carry On My Wayward Son alarm, and this fic idea was born. It's been in my head a few months now, but I've just gathered the courage to start writing it. Essentially Castiel isn't an angel, but a Star, and Dean's gone looking for a fallen star so he can use it's Grace to heal Sam, who is desperately ill. Of course, when Dean stumbles on the Star, it's Castiel, not a lump of rock as he had always thought, presenting a bit of an issue as he now has to convince the Star to travel with him to heal his brother. This fic takes place in the same SORT of universe as Neil Gaiman's Stardust, although it's not the same Wall and it's not the same Stormhold. The adventures are greatly greatly influenced by the novel and the movie, but don't expect an exact retelling, with Dean and Cas in the place of Tristan and Yvaine.
As per usual, this is a work of fanfiction, and is not an original work. The characters of Supernatural and Stardust belong to their respective creators and I am merely borrowing them and the scenery for a bit of a romp in my head that I've cared to share.

Samanddeanfan1 on LJ was upset at how I treated Sam in one of my stories. So I offered to write her a dominant and toppy Sam in the setting of her choice. She wanted to see Sam and Dean as bartenders. So here you have it, my piano bar AU. It's kind of like Hooters, but for chicks and a good bit classier than that. I figured if I was writing a fantasy bar, I might as well write some place I wish I could go. And instead of an apocalypse, you've got Michael and Lucifer playing dueling pianos and our favorite angels hustling for tips.
It's more or less an excuse to appreciate the pretty, pretty boys of Supernatural.
