And then everything gets complicated.

The world’s gone to hell. Or Hell has come to the world, actually - Hell raised up, the world didn't sink down. Not physically at least. Metaphorically it couldn't have fallen any farther. On blessedly simple and quiet days, when they desire nothing more than silence and companionship, Castiel and Dean sit and watch the stars. Cas is the only living member of Team Free Will, he is "simi" fallen, but still immortal, he kept his extra senses and has some extra strength, but anything that requires big mojo is impossible (healing, flying, mind reading,) He`s more Future!Cas than Nerdy Angel.
Spike is the only one alive from the Scoobies, or the Fang Gang. He`s still fighting the good fight, but only cause he has nothing else to satisfy his blood-lust that won`t crush him with guilt.They are both supernatural, immortal creatures forever changed by humans, that they have lost for good. They are Inhuman creatures fighting for humanity, but not interacting with it.

Contrary to popular belief, Dean hated the thigh holster. Of course no one ever believed him because he was always seen with it on around camp and out on missions. If he hated it so much why did he bother to wear it everywhere? The reason being that even though he hated it, he loved it when Cas helped him put it on, and he especially loved it when Cas helped him take it off.
