Summary
All great and timeless fairytales start with simple things and simple people; a small 'once upon a time' sealed in a seemingly ordinary book, eight girls on the brink of childhood, a moon alit on the midnight sky, bedtime stories, shadows underneath your bed and wishes on a star.
But its from those simple, small and almost meaningless things, that the greatest set of fairytales were born from; from the 'once upon a time' came the idea of a magical kingdom on a faraway land; from the eight girls growing up, was a long awaited and needed princess found where no one ever looked closer; from the moon came a epic battle and the birth of the legendary story of the Man in the Moon; from bedtime stories did dreams come more alive than ever; from bed-shadows were cunning villains and monsters born; and from a wishing star, was a story born from no where.
It started with those things along with others, simple yet beautifully complex things; the Sandman, a lord of time who travelled the stars, a ragtag group of adventure seekers, a wishing fountain, a box of dust that brought sweet dreams and a little girl with a heart full of fairytales and a want for adventure beyond her world.

Summary
“But the question is why did we all turn into fairy tale characters though?” Stiles shouted as Allison was trying her best not to allow Lydia to fall back asleep. This hood was really tight around his neck and it didn’t want to budge at all, Stiles was getting near the threshold for things going from bad to worse.
“Your guess is as good as ours you idiot,” Jackson said with his dumb crown on in his dumb overcoat adorned with jewels. Figures he’d get the long end of the stick in all this and become a prince Philip, Stiles wasn’t going to hear the end of it.

Summary
Being the only angel in the entire Pacific Northwest can be tiring, even if these days Castiel spends more of his time shoveling manure than fighting off the hordes of hell. It's an occupational hazard, unfortunately; he earns most of his living rehabilitating wild animals a few miles outside Spokane. Wild animals like Dean, for instance— a mountain lion who's entirely too smart for his own good. There's a man in Castiel's dreams named Dean too, but that part's just a huge coincidence.
